Oaks – the most powerful plant of all

Now tree-planting season is mainly over here in the UK, and we’re finally getting some bursts of rain to ensure our lovingly planted oaks and others are getting some water, I’ve been researching and reading again, around plant connections and the underworld/overworld life of trees and the living vegetal world. Have just discovered the work of Doug Tallamy, and have ordered his book on the mighty oak to dive into:
