STO NATIONAL TREE WEEK POST – APPEAL FOR IMAGES OF THE SAPLINGS YOU PLANTED

Dear oak rescuers & planters!

Happy UK National Tree Week – 23rd November to 1st December

It’s been a while, and sending tender greetings in the midst of Storm Bert battering this Island….

to mark nearly 5 years since we got this campaign underway in the midst of UK lockdown in 2020, and in honour of UK National tree week, I (James MW) have a request of you – would you re-visit any oaks you received from this campaign, check on them, give some love (if you haven’t been able to recently), and send us in some photos with a rough indication of where they are in the Isle.

I will compile a film file and whenever we have a fair few, will post here again & in the fb group, & make a big social media splash….we need good news more than ever.

No immediate rush, thought it would be a great honouring of this campaign and the living oaks that hopefully are thriving to this day, thanks to all of our efforts, for the more than human!

Send it via website, or direct to me: james”at”sky-larking.co.uk  Warm Thanks, James
